Celebrity Meltdowns on the Oscar Podium
Perhaps Hollywood gangsters are the best prepared for Oscar night. Joe Pesci simply practiced the mafia code of silence when he won for "Goodfellas." In perhaps the shortest acceptance speech ever, he delivered a tight-lipped "Thank you," and left without incriminating anyone, especially himself.
