While Anna Nicole Smith's battle over her late husband's estate recently reached the Supreme Court, Edwards recalls first laying eyes on her in 2001. "I couldn't help but wonder if she had studied tapes of 'Gentlemen Prefer Blondes,' " Edwards says. "Her breathy voice and batting eyelashed moved so far into caricature that eventually the judge admonished her as the audience cackled."
