DeLuca, who doesn't wear a hair prosthesis (or so he claims), says hair helps regulate body temperature and shield skin from ultraviolet radiation. The Hair Club for Men already has started The Hair Club for Kids, to help young cancer patients. "It's some of our most rewarding work," says Hair Club spokesman Mike Smith. "We're glad when we can make a difference."
