Superman Through the Years
Superman didn't start out as a hero. Created by artist Joe Shuster and writer Jerry Siegel in the early 1930s, he started as a villain in one of their self-published magazines. But by the time they sold the character to DC Comics, the Man of Steel was the ultimate good guy. Shuster and Siegel sold their creation for a paltry $130.
